TAP INTO – new grants announced
Congratulations!
12 INTO member organisations have been successfully awarded TAP INTO new grants in the latest round, totalling £22,000.
The TAP INTO programme brings together expertise in the INTO family and enables sharing of knowledge, support and practical know-how. Our members are a fantastic asset to each other and with a TAP INTO award, can work together to benefit people, heritage and nature. We are grateful for the generous support of the Helen Hamlyn Trust, in making this programme possible.
Making connections
The grant enables travel exchanges, but in reality it is so much more. It’s rare that an organisation could find specific training on how to develop membership offers, run youth workshops or undertake first-hand research between historic properties in different parts of the world. TAP INTO amplifies the ability to make connections and provide in depth learning.
We’re especially delighted that this round has resulted in another first for the programme. Four Caribbean members will work together with several National Trust (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) places, maximising the pooling of expertise for the region and opportunities for the Trust to share in the learning. This opportunity was recognised by the INTO team and we are so excited to see how our members will benefit.
