TAP INTO grantees announced
12 TAP INTO grants awarded
INTO is delighted to announce the results of our most recent round of TAP INTO grants, which we are able to offer to members thanks to the generous support of the Helen Hamlyn Trust. In August 2021, 12 grants with a total value of more than £20,000 have been allocated to INTO members around the world.
Funding supports a diverse range of activity, from shared education programming in Africa to 20th anniversary celebrations in the Atlantic Ocean. All projects are inspired by the connections between the global family of INTO heritage trusts.
What is TAP INTO?
Our TAP INTO grant scheme aims to build the capacity of our members through knowledge sharing. These small grants run in rounds throughout the year and support collaboration in the INTO family.
In the Balkans, a TAP INTO grant will support INTO members Boulouki (Greece) and Cultural Heritage without Border Albania to explore the potential for future collaboration on heritage safeguarding within the border region of Epirus.
Funding will also support the National Trust Sri Lanka with a planned exhibition of photography from the Scottish E A Hornel. This collaboration represents an important opportunity for the National Trust for Scotland to deepen understanding of the collection’s context, in discussion with colleagues in Sri Lanka.
